Our culture

Your training as a building technology planner

As a building technology planner, you develop technical solutions that people need every day: Ventilation, heating, air conditioning, sanitation - in short: you make buildings smart, efficient and comfortable to live in.

Your work is modern and digital: you plan on the computer, draw in 3D software and tinker with solutions. At the same time, you are always out and about on construction sites and see how your planning becomes reality step by step. It is precisely this mix that makes the job so exciting.

 

Does the job suit you?

If you enjoy numbers, geometry and logical thinking, that's a good start. It will be even better if you have an eye for detail, feel at home in the digital world and enjoy developing technical solutions.

What you can expect from us

At Willers, you don't just get trained - you become part of a team. We support each other, laugh together and tackle challenges together. The atmosphere is relaxed, appreciative and approachable - no one is "just a learner".

You will work on real projects right from the start, develop technical solutions, get to know modern methods and take on more responsibility step by step. You will be accompanied by training managers and team members who will help you to find your own path and build on your strengths.

Three times a year, the Apprentice Days bring together all the energy and creativity of our apprentices and their job profiles to exchange knowledge and experience.

These days are filled with team activities, exciting insights into new worlds and of course lots of fun; a perfect opportunity to look beyond your own location, make new friends and grow as part of the Willers team.

Once a week, all learners meet for short virtual sessions. Everyone can talk about what is currently going on - whether professionally or privately.

These talks strengthen presentation and communication skills, provide insights into other projects and create a strong internal network. You not only learn technical skills, but also become more confident and self-assured and learn how to present yourself and your work to others.

Your entry

Tell us by e-mail or online why you are interested in a taster apprenticeship. Please send us your CV and your high school certificates.

We get to know each other, clarify initial questions and see if it's a good fit for both sides. If so, we'll arrange an appointment for your trial apprenticeship right away.

During 2-3 days, you will get to know our profession and our team, look over our shoulders and take on your first tasks. At the same time, we want to get to know you better: what inspires you and what are your strengths? There will be a short test and a brief feedback session with the vocational trainer at the end.

We will meet again. If they want to be there, your parents are also very welcome. We will clarify all open questions about the 4-year apprenticeship so that we are sure together that an apprenticeship with us is the right thing for you.

We do everything we can to ensure that you feel comfortable with us right from the start. That's why we will support you particularly closely in the first few months. Before you start work, you will receive a personal induction program that will give you an overview of your first tasks, events and colleagues.
