With his keynote Udo Gommel from the Fraunhofer IPA kicked off the event. Using practical research projects, he impressively demonstrated why the cleanroom is increasingly becoming an enabler for high-tech innovations - from quantum computing and space travel to battery cell production and current issues surrounding microplastics.
The three project presentations awarded prizes by the expert jury were equally inspiring:
- Prefabrication of cleanroom modules
- Fluid mechanics in injection molding
- Simulation of clean room ventilation systems
They highlighted the potential for innovation that arises when research, planning and implementation come together. The forum thus provided a valuable platform for visibility, exchange and networking in a highly dynamic industry.
The open dialog with so many experts, implementers, clients and researchers gave us great pleasure - that is exactly what this format stands for.
Save the Date:
The 3rd Cleanroom Innovation Forum of the three co-organizers HSLU Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, SwissCCS and Willers will take place on January 27, 2028.
We look forward to the next round - together, networked and with an eye to the future.
