From expert knowledge to your own company

His involvement in federal funding programs to increase energy efficiency and reduce COâ‚‚ emissions, as well as complex projects as a planning engineer, gave him the expertise to set up his own company. With the support of his wife Christina, Jobst Willers took the plunge into entrepreneurship in 1989 - at a time when the construction boom and social change were opening up new opportunities.

1992

Partnerships that stay

Philippe Brügger has been helping to build Willers since 1992. As a young electrical engineer, as a passionate planner and from 2011 to 2021 as CEO. He continues to shape our development to this day. We also think across generations in our customer relationships. Our first clients, who are still with us today, were Zentrallaboratorium Blutspendedienst Bern (now CSL Behring), Bankverein (now UBS) and the Canton of Aargau.

2000

We grow beyond borders

This was followed in 2000 by the Zurich and Bern locations, which are still important pillars of our presence in Switzerland today. This was followed in 2017 by the founding of Willers Poland. Our team in Wrocław strengthens our international presence with a focus on major projects with a high technology content.

2012

Family tradition in new hands

Magnus Willers joined the company in 2012 and took over the role of CEO ten years later. With his attitude of preserving tradition while breaking new ground, he is leading the family business into the future.

From target values and disturbance variables

On the occasion of his 30th anniversary, company founder Jobst Willers shares a treasure: very personal insights into three decades of engineering, entrepreneurship and the construction industry - thoroughly honest, modest and comprehensible for everyone. Originally he wanted to become an expert in control engineering - he has become an entrepreneur, mentor and designer.

2020

Entering the technological age

Since 2020, we have specialized in the five areas of life sciences, energy hubs, data centers, workspaces and healthcare. With our commitment to research and development, we are looking for new solutions and are developing new services for complex building types with the Digital Building division.
