Iris is a trained molecular biologist. After completing her PhD at the University of Vienna, she joined McKinsey & Company as a management consultant. For more than 9 years she advised companies worldwide, mainly in the ICT sector, on strategic issues. Since 2010, Iris has been working in Switzerland and at Swisscom (Switzerland) AG in various management functions. She always pursues the goal of harnessing the potential of digitalization for her customers, for example with BigData and Data Insights solutions for traffic planning or for the secure exchange of medical data for the Swiss healthcare system. In addition to her work at Swisscom, Iris is active on various boards of directors.

A native of Cologne, Iris now lives with her partner in the canton of Lucerne on Lake Sempach and spends her free time playing music, ballet or golf.
