After graduating as an HVAC engineer in Lucerne / Horw, Ändu started his career at Sulzer Energie Consulting. His move to us in 2000 was the reason for our location in Bern and for the HVAC division. Ändu has been a member of the Executive Board since 2004 and Chief Technology Officer since July 2025.
Ändu is a passionate HVAC engineer for cleanrooms. He has over 30 years of experience in many well-known pharmaceutical companies in Switzerland and is involved as a guest lecturer in the bachelor's degree course in building technology at the Lucerne / Horw University of Applied Sciences and Arts. His project highlights include the major CSL Bern Protinus project, the GMP upgrade of the central dispensation of Novartis Pharma in Stein and the new construction of the sitem-insel research center in Bern.
Ändu enjoys spending his free time outdoors in nature with his wife and daughter. As a mountaineer in summer and skier in winter, he appreciates the almost unlimited possibilities within striking distance of his home in Belp near Bern.
