How can the utilization of the office be analyzed and optimized?
During the concept phase, we worked intensively with the users to develop possible solutions. We developed an appealing smart office platform that records and analyzes the utilization of the desks and meeting rooms. Too little attention was paid to the security requirements of IT, or rather, these were not known at the time. It only became clear later on that close IT coordination is absolutely essential, especially for IoT and cloud applications.
SOLUTIONS
With a wireless network, sensors can be integrated securely and energy-efficiently into the networks.
An indoor LoRaWAN network was set up across all floors to record the presence sensors of the desks and meeting boxes. The data is transmitted energy-efficiently over long distances via this wireless network. In order to guarantee the security of the network, the data connection of the building automation system was implemented with galvanic isolation.
