Temporary facilities are the key to smooth operations. This ensures that production can continue during the conversion phase.
The existing areas of the hospital pharmacy must remain largely in operation during the project, as the supply of the cantonal hospital can only be ensured via this building. Extensive temporary facilities must therefore be created. An independent air conditioning system was designed for the production and storage area so that the handling of cytostatics and highly toxic substances is adequately resolved.

The entire hospital pharmacy is being brought up to the latest state of the art so that tomorrow's requirements are met today.
The overall renovation will bring the production areas up to the latest state of the art. In addition to the current requirements, the foreseeable future requirements will also be met: the GMP standards for the manufacture of sterile and non-sterile medicines and the GDP standards (Good Distribution Practice). To ensure the most efficient and flexible implementation possible, we planned the entire project using BIM.
