Hundreds of people enter the Waid and Triemli hospitals every day. How do they behave in the entrance area and the emergency room? We use innovative technologies and artificial intelligence to analyze this.
Fast Facts
challenges
How do people behave in rooms and how can a building be optimized accordingly?
Sensors and cameras for detecting the movement of people have to work in rooms with low ceilings. The sunlight also makes it difficult to plan the sensor positions. A particular challenge was the exact recognition of people in a variety of combinations. The software has to recognize a wide variety of situations precisely: People in wheelchairs with or without pushers, supported people and even children.
SOLUTIONS
Data from various camera systems is processed with the help of artificial intelligence. This makes it possible to reliably detect people and movements.
A combination of different cameras and sensor types makes it possible to recognize people precisely: 360° cameras for larger areas, a directional dome camera for identifying people wearing masks, stereo cameras for detecting movements. The combined data is processed using artificial intelligence and visualized on dashboards.
