A large retail space will be created in the best location, which will include a Nike flagship store, supplemented by SBB CFF FFS zones, an SBB baggage service, and the cantonal and transport police.
A project in an existing building from the 1990s that requires multiple relocations during ongoing operations and is under high time pressure: organizationally demanding and technically tightly scheduled.
To overcome these complex challenges, all project participants work entirely digitally. Planning, coordination, and communication are handled centrally via the Autodesk Construction Cloud. Everyone accesses the same data, tasks are addressed directly in the model, and clarifications are transparently documented. What arises on the construction site lands in the cloud in real-time.
This collaborative digital way of working is crucial: it reduces interfaces, keeps deadlines stable, and enables phased renovations in a busy existing building without disrupting operations.
We are currently in execution. Our HVAC project manager Patrick Walczak is regularly on-site and, together with our team, ensures technical management, spatial coordination, and quality assurance – digitally supported, but always close to the construction site.
Barely visible from the outside, everything is running at full steam behind the station walls so that the project can be completed by mid-2027.
